Take the Leap
Are you looking to grow/start your Nu Skin business or just looking for reasons to be a little more excited when you get out of bed every morning. Maybe you want to launch a dream. Maybe you’ve worked up the courage to want to do something epic. Even if you haven’t shared that dream with anyone yet. Even if it’s still something private.
If you do have a secret dream, congratulations. Because a commitment to doing something great — something that makes us catch our breath a little — will take you farther than anything else will.
But you don’t build something epic just by getting a wild hair. Whatever you’re building — if it’s worthbuilding — you’ll go through three phases. (Dare, planning, Leap and after that enjoy the ride)
If you’re going to build something — a Nu Skin business — that takes our breath away, it has to take your breath away first.
That dare is the big step. Once you’ve let yourself dream about something really big, the rest of it is logistics.
Whether you create your dream exactly the way you see it in your head isn’t the point. Daring is the point.
If you’re planning a jump from 39.000 meter that will take your body up to 1340 km/h in free fall … you’re going to need to do some planning.
The greater the mission, the more preparation you’re going to need.
You probably don’t know everything you need to know to make your breathtaking dream happen.
So educate yourself! And I will help you where you need it!
Your dream probably isn’t something you can do all at once. It will happen in stages. Figure out what those stages are.
Take practice jumps. Work out the problems that come up at 3000 meters before you climb to 39km
This is what most people call “the hard part.”, it actually is the fun part
This is what you’ll look back on later with great fondness and a hell of a grin on your face.
This is what pulls you out of bed in the morning so you can get started on the next milestone.
Solving problems, gaining knowledge, pushing out experiments … this is what being a human being is about. Enjoy it. Learn from it.
I hate the saying, “Leap, and the net will appear.”
That is a lousy maxim when you’re heading for the ground at over 1300 km/h
Build your net. Study your net. Understand your net.
Felix Baumgartner and Red Bull started working on their legendary space jump in 2005, and didn’t actually make the jump until 2012.
It took seven years to perfect the net. To work out the kinks and understand all the angles.
Realize that the net can never give you 100% certainty.
Jump anyway. It’s a hell of a ride. I will be there with you!

Obstacles Are Temporary
Flooding in the Kruger park this week.
When there are days that things don’t go your way just know that obstacles are temporary, however big they may seem at the time. Looking back at things, usually the bigger the obstacle, the more worthwhile the end result was…………
There for everything worth while achieving has obstacles, it is up to you what you do with your attitude while you get to your destination. If you know it is the case you may aswell enjoy it. Enjoy the journey!!!
Do You Have Your Priorities Right?
A man sat at a metro station in Washington DC and started to play the violin; it was a cold January morning. He played six Bach pieces for about 45 minutes. During that time, since it was rush hour, it was calculated that 1,100 people went through the station, most of them on their way to work.
Three minutes went by, and a middle aged man noticed there was musician playing. He slowed his pace, and stopped for a few seconds, and then hurried up to meet his schedule.
A minute later, the violinist received his first dollar tip: a woman threw the money in the till and without stopping, and continued to walk.
A few minutes later, someone leaned against the wall to listen to him, but the man looked at his watch and started to walk again. Clearly he was late for work.
The one who paid the most attention was a 3 year old boy. His mother tagged him along, hurried, but the kid stopped to look at the violinist. Finally, the mother pushed hard, and the child continued to walk, turning his head all the time. This action was repeated by several other children. All the parents, without exception, forced them to move on.
In the 45 minutes the musician played, only 6 people stopped and stayed for a while. About 20 gave him money, but continued to walk their normal pace. He collected $32. When he finished playing and silence took over, no one noticed it. No one applauded, nor was there any recognition.
No one knew this, but the violinist was Joshua Bell, one of the most talented musicians in the world. He had just played one of the most intricate pieces ever written, on a violin worth $3.5 million dollars.
Two days before his playing in the subway, Joshua Bell sold out at a theatre in Boston where the seats averaged $100.
This is a real story. Joshua Bell playing incognito in the metro station was organized by the Washington Post as part of a social experiment about perception, taste, and priorities of people. The outlines were: in a commonplace environment at an inappropriate hour: Do we perceive beauty? Do we stop to appreciate it? Do we recognize the talent in an unexpected context?
One of the possible conclusions from this experience could be:
If we do not have a moment to stop and listen to one of the best musicians in the world playing the best music ever written, how many other things are we missing?

Making Money while you are on Holiday
Well we are back after a great holiday in the bush with the family, to reflect on 2012 and to set goals for 2013. The Transkei was beautiful and remote as always with lots of family time. The kids made friends with the locals and had lots of fun. No connection with the outside world and now the best part; ones we were able to go back on line we found out that we have still been making money and signed somebody up to join my team while away. If I can do this so can you and the best part of it, it is great fun!
As you may or may not know I started this blog to start a business while sailing. Well this is already happening and I haven’t even gone back to sailing yet. This business has taken of nicely and I am amazed about the platform and how it works for you.
The idea is to create a established business for when you are ready to stop sailing/working away from home and spend more time with your family. I am even doing this together with my wife. She can keep the part on the home front going while you are expanding your network overseas. We are ready to now take this to the next level if you want to do the same and start 2013 with a bang let me know and we make this happen.
